James is co-founder and Director of COOK one of the UK’s first B Corporations. It now employs over 850 people and is rolling out nationally. Since 2004 he has been working with Panahpur, a UK foundation, overseeing the transition from grant-maker to for-beneficiary investment company as it seeks solutions to social problems. He is also a Deputy Chairman of the Social Stock Exchange, a Trustee of Access Foundation, a member of the UK Practitioners Council advising the Global Social Impact Investing Steering Group, and co-Chairman of B Lab UK.
